Q: Can I buy products directly from ProTaper?
A: We’re sorry, but no. ProTaper products are not sold consumer direct. ProTaper is sold exclusively through a nationwide network of dealers and is distributed by Tucker Rocky Distributing. See our Dealer page to find your local stocking ProTaper dealer.
Q: Are ProTaper products covered under warranty?
A: Yes, our products are warranted against defects in materials, craftsmanship and manufacturing. Please see our Warranty Information page.

Q: I ordered EVO handlebars and did not get a bar pad, where is it?
A: Our high-end EVO handlebars do not come with a bar pad. This way you have the option of choosing a pad that suites your style and color preference.
Q: What is the difference between the EVO and Contour handlebars?
A: The Contour model is a special blend of alloy processed into 5mm wall thickness tubing. The EVO model utilizes a computer profiled 4mm wall design, thus making the EVO handlebar lighter and giving it a more sensitive feel. In addition the EVO is made of a unique blend of alloy that has proven superior strength and durability results. The EVO also incorporates the use of a unique coating inside the tubing to resist corrosion, ultimately extending the life of the bar.
Q: What do I need to do to make the 1-1/8” EVO or Contour handlebar fit my bike?
A: If your bike comes stock with 7/8” handlebars, then you will need to purchase oversized bar mounts. We offer the Universal Solid Mounts (02-2821) and Universal Rubber Mounts (02-2822), adapting virtually every application to accept the oversized taperwall handlebars.
Q: How much does ProTaper Universal Solid Mounts raise my handlebar height?
A: They raise the bar ¾” over the stock height.
Q: How do I know what gearing came stock on my bike?
A: We have compiled a list of the OEM Information to help point you in the right direction.
